Radiant strongly advises that firewall support be active as a fundamental measure to counter the dynamic cybersecurity challenges confronting modern businesses. Allowing firewall support to lapse exposes your network to unauthorized access and various cyber threats, including data breaches, malware, ransomware, and more. While the firewall retains its efficacy in screening incoming and outgoing traffic for known threats, the absence of active support renders it incapable of detecting or scrutinizing nascent threats. Active support provides new firmware releases, security patches, and bug fixes, bolstering defenses against emerging threats.

Can you support our servers, storage, or networking equipment after the manufacturer's End of Service Life (EOSL)?

Radiant is partnered with one of the largest independent IT maintenance providers to support our clients' EOSL equipment around the world. Our customized, global IT support services are designed to minimize your costs while providing comprehensive multi-platform hardware maintenance plans.

Do I really need to back up my M365?

In short, yes. Although Microsoft provides robust data protection measures for its cloud services, these primarily focus on infrastructurelevel protection, such as redundancy and disaster recovery. However, this does not guarantee the ability to recover data at specific points in time or protect against various forms of data loss, including accidental deletion, user errors, malicious activities, or ransomware attacks. Additionally, M365 retention policies might not encompass all your data or retain it for as long as necessary. By backing up your data, you gain control over retention periods and ensure the availability of a fallback option in case of data loss incidents. Implementing a comprehensive backup strategy for your M365 environment helps mitigate the risks associated with data loss and contributes to maintaining business continuity.
